Most of the time it would be too self indulgent to be a stage parent but if your kid really has the looks as well as the talent, it would be just a shame not to put him or her out there for everyone to see.

Here are the top three secrets to winning an online baby photo contest:

  1. Understand the rules. Do not get too excited that you forget that it is a contest with a set of rules that all contestants must adhere to. You would not want your kid to lose because of some technically that you neglected to know about.
  2. Take as many photos as you can but only pick the best, the cutest, and the most candid. Babies are at their most adorable selves when they are not aware that anyone is watching. Take candid photos and choose the best ones before you upload anything.
  3. Complete all the requirements. If there are certain documents that you (parents) need to pass, make sure that you do so in a timely manner. Be ready with an authenticated copy of your child’s birth certificate as it is always needed in this kid of contest as well as all your personal information as they will be needed as well since you are the parent of the child contestant.
